Women in the Bible-Examples to Live By is designed to help make you a better wife and mother, as well as an influential spokeswoman for Jesus Christ. Through this study you will grow spiritually as you learn from the lives of 64 special women of God presented to you in His Word and will gain greater insight in what God has for your life. You will learn from their successes and failures, they victories and defeats, their virtues and shortcomings. This study will begin Tuesday, September 9 at 10:00 am. Wednesdays v Disciple 1 Led by Pastor David Wednesday evenings beginning September 10, 2008 6:30 pm Cost: $35.00 Why Study DISCIPLE? DISCIPLE is a program of disciplined Bible study aimed at developing strong Christian leaders. It focuses on the disciple as learner, believer, follower, proclaimer, and servant while providing the fellowship of a small group for study, prayer, preparation, support, and servanthood. DISCIPLE assumes that the Bible is key to renewal in the church and affirms that the canon was formed as it is in order for God to speak to us. The study gives the Old and New Testaments equal time, emphasizing the wholeness of the Bible as a revelation of God and draws upon the work of scholars to aid in understanding of the Bible. The study will last for 34 weeks and will begin on Wednesday evening, September 10 at 6:30 pm. Cost of the study will be $35.00 which includes the workbook and completion lapel pin. Payment is due by August 31 to the church office or to Terri Haehnle.

This study is an in-depth look at 15 Psalms. Just as a song or poem can express feelings of fear, doubt, hope and joy, these 15 psalms model how study participants can voice their own petitions and praises to our God, who is always available and ready to hear us. Themes such as unity, joy, and gratitude, redemption, repentance, the power of blessings, facing ridicule, and more are explored in detail. Modern-day believers can learn much from these treasured Psalms in their journey toward greater intimacy with God. This study will begin Wednesday, September 10 at 7:00 pm. Saturdays v Men in the Bible written by Don Charles Led by Tony Valant Saturday Mornings 8:01 am Every Saturday our Men’s Groups meets at 8:01 am in the Conference Room. Unless other activities are planned.
