Tuesday Mornings 10:30 am - Conference Room Beginning Tuesday, January 10, 2012 Georganna Irish - facilitator
Overcoming MISTAKES, A Light-Hearted look at Jonah by Marilyn Meberg "This is a light-hearted study on how, through grace, Jonah overcomes doubts, troubles, mistakes and a nauseated fish to restore his relationship with God. Marilyn relates Jonah's struggles to life today and finds Biblical answers to questions like: What do I do when I'm overwhelmed and feel like running away? What if I regret some choices I've made? Can I forgive? Will I be forgiven? How do I pray?"
Marilyn is a member of the speaking team for the Women of Faith conferences. Cost for the book is $8.25.

v Beth Moore Daniel: Lives of integrity, Words of Prophecy
Wednesday evenings 7:00 pm We meet in the Room 15/17 Facilitator: Melody Frazee
This is a twelve week study, beginning February 1, 2012. Join us in a faith-building study of prophecy and learn how to live with integrity in today's self-absorbed society. The prophet Daniel faced unbelievable pressures to compromise his faith, to live in a hostile culture, and to confront temptations and threats. Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials. The cost of the workbook is $15.00. Call the church office to sign up at 882-1549.
v Beth Moore James: Mercy Triumphs
Wednesday evenings 7:00 pm We meet in the Room 26/28 Facilitator: Georganna Irish
James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple with Beth Moore's 8-session study, beginning February 22, 2012. And, in the process, learn how you can put your own faith into action. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any new Testament book. Come along with Beth Moore on a journey to get to know both the man and the Book of James. you will never be the same again. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Plus, Beth introduces a 5-tiered study approach that she has never done before. Cost of the book is $15.00. Call the church office to sign up at 882-1549.
Thursday Study
v Singing the Same Song Harmonizing the Gospel Accounts of the Life of Jesus
Thursday evenings 7:00 pm We meet in Room 23/25 Facilitator: Phil and Patti Moore
This Bible study combines the four gospels into a single chronological account of the life of jesus. Because the four gospels were written by different men, to different audiences with differing purposes, each of them will vary in detail and order as each writer sees parts of the same story. When taken together as a whole in a streamlined narrative in chronological order, they provide a remarkably rich story. The study will begin on Thursday, March 1. Call the church office to sign up at 882-1549. For more information contact: philandpatti@gmail.com
