PRESCHOOL 2011-2012 CALENDAR WITH CHANGES

2011 - 2012 Monday - Thursday 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
2's through Pre-K 2 Day Program Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday Registration Fee: $120.00 Tuition: $136.00 per month
4's and Pre-K only 3 Day Program - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Registration Fee: $130.00 Tuition: $186.00 per month
Pre-K only 4 Day Program - Monday through Thursday Registration Fee: $140.00 Tuition: $236.00 per month *Registration fee is non-refundable
Criteria for Enrollment *2's must be 2 years of age prior to August 1, 2010 *3's must be completely potty trained and maintain their own bathroom needs *Pre-K must be 4 years of age prior to August 1, 2010 with consideration to the Kindergarten deadline date with your school corporation
Policies and Procedures *Each child will need to bring a lunch daily *You must be able to escort your child/children to and from their classroom *We must be able to contact the parent daily during preschool hours *When your child is ill, you must be able to pick them up immediately *We do not give medication to the children for any reason *Every child will be assigned to bring snack for the entire classroom *Please dress the children appropriately for outdoor play and messy art activities
GYMNASTICS: 9:30 am - 10:00 am 1 day a week Tuesday-Thursday by Alicia VanMeter - Register during Parent's Night.
What is CUMC Preschool? We emphasize the teaching of God's love and the wonders of God's world.
Based on the theory that "children learn through play," our program includes opportunities for social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through a "hands-on" learning approach. Concepts and skills are introduced which are appropriate to each child's stage of development.
We teach a "love of learning" by allowing the children to experience their own stage of development and help them to feel success without pressure.
What are CUMC resources? The CUMC teachers are its greatest resource. Each staff member is a dedicated Christian and has a desire to serve God's children.
Every teacher is given the opportunity to participate in the IAEYC State Conferences and attend yearly workshops provided by the preschool office.
We believe children learn best in an atmosphere of love and acceptance. Thus, we strive to maintain a happy, productive manner and use praise often.
While the school has grown, its mission and philosophy remain intact. We believe each child is created in the image of God and is a unique person of intrinsic worth.
